4 of our volunteers joined IMWorld 2017, the largest IT expo-conference in CEE (Central and East Europe), that took place over the course of two days, between October 4th and 5th, at the Romexpo exhibition pavilion, in Bucharest. The event logged a record number of over 130 speakers, over 90 sessions and 9000 participants. One of the most discussed topics was, of course, the AI (Artificial Intelligence) and its use and the real world: self-driving cars, smart cities, etc. We were presented clear things, like new technologies and useful practices, but there were also philosophers that told us how the see the world over the influences of the fast development of technology.

In other words, it was an extraordinary conference!

I liked it very much. It helped me to develop my skills in the IT domain and it really got me some pretty nice business ideas. I felt bad that it ended so quickly. I felt like staying more. Definitely coming back next year! — Andrei H

It was very interesting. I learned a lot of new things about the IT domain, i experimented the latest generation of technologies and I had the opportunity to attend the speeches of some specialists in this domain and interact with them. I liked it very much. To be honest, I didn’t even expect not to like it. I am waiting for the next IMWorld. — Tibi
