Between 16th 25th of July 2016, a Romanian team was part of the Youth Exchange project Understanding Each other, financed by Erasmus+ program through Austrian National Agency and held in Ukraine, in Slavsko area.
In the end of the mobility, one of our participant said:
“I really loved the Ukraine experience and I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to participate in this Peace project and also I want to share with friends the conclusion and my final “speech”.
So, people the truth is, we are different. We like different things, we look different, we have different nationalities, different religions, we dress diferrent. Some are romanians, some others are russians. Some are muslim some christians. The fact is, this does not matter at all, we are all people in the end.
My question is: In a general way, do you like war? Do you like that people are fighting and even dying for who knows what interest of who knows who? I will answer by personal opinion. I do not like this situation. Because we have to find a way to accept and love each other. Only with love, compassion and caring we can improve ourselves and create good karma. Treating people the way you want them to treat you is one of the best things you can do in your relationships with others.
In conclusion, do good and good will come to you.. speak good words and you will definetely enjoy the consequences. I think the most important feeling a human can experience is to be loved, accepted and useful.
Love people and let them be.
Many thanks to everybody and particularly to Irina, Sasha & Jeremiah, to my Romanian team, my Georgians, Russians, Ukrainians, Armenians, Austrians and Turkish people. Peace & love !”
