Goal: emotional development through theater for primary school children at Agigea Day Center for a two-month period
objectives:
-obtaining a diploma at the school theater festival
– Increasing self-confidence in public speaking
– Improving the ability to manage emotions and understanding them as constructive
activities:
– Friday (February-April), 13-15 pm, rehearsals for the play on the festival. Responsible: Civicum Voluntaris Association
– Friday (February-April), 15-16 am, workshop of emotional development through shadow theater. Responsible: CREATIVE +
Results:
Improve self-image, reduce aggression, and improve team spirit. Increasing productivity in school. Improving attitudes towards school and collectivity.
Improving personal skills and competences with long-term positive effects on school outcomes: Stimulating leadership, listening to others’ opinions, adapting to the needs of the group; increasing initiative capacity; creative approach to work tasks, understanding the need for permanent reassessment of them; stimulating the ability to find out-of-the-box solutions.
Reducing attitudes that may be generating dysfunctions in the community: Awareness of the differences between people and communication barriers, which can lead to the renunciation of prejudices and interpersonal judgments; reducing anxiety over public speaking; reducing frustration.
Strengthening the sense of social belonging, strengthening group cohesion: increasing the capacity to engage in group tasks, improving the positive attitude towards team work, better interpersonal knowledge, based on the accumulation of information from positive interpersonal experiences.
